The cycling route to the ITE-Aulis home museum starts from the Suonenjoki market square.
The route follows Herralantie to Asemakatu, passes the Suonenjoki Church and
continues through the old residential area of Kirkkolanniemi to Siioninsilta bridge, where the Suonenjoki River begins.
The route follows the riverbank trail along the Suonenjoki all the way to Purola,
from where it continues onto Ratapohjantie, which follows the base of an old railway line.

From Ratapohjantie, the route turns onto Herralanmäentie, along which the ITE-Aulis home museum is located.
The museum is open during the summer season. From the museum, the route continues towards Karsikonmäki.
From Karsikonmäki, the route descends towards Iisvesi, and on the lakeshore you will find the Iisvesi Beach Pavilion, where you can take a short break.

From Iisvesi, the route continues via Petsamo along the river towards Notkola, and from there along pedestrian and cycling paths back to Suonenjoki market square.
