Urho Kekkonen AR-Tour

Join this tour to hear stories from the life of Urho Kekkonen, President of the Republic of Finland — from his childhood in Pielavesi, to his presidency, and to the loss of his beloved spouse.

The tour begins at Lepikko Cottage, Kekkonen’s childhood home, and continues to the Pielavesi village centre.
Five information boards represent five different periods or themes in Kekkonen’s life. They can be viewed in order or individually.

Lepikko Cottage is open from early June to the end of August
(the boards are located outdoors, so the tour can be done outside the cottage opening hours as well).
