Konnekoski – A Spawning Ground for Trout and Whitefish
Konnekoski is one of Rautalampi’s most well-known fishing spots. It flows from Hankavesi into South Konnevesi and is particularly popular among anglers for trout and whitefish fishing. The rapids are about 600 meters long and 20 meters wide, with an average flow rate of 48 m³/s. The rapids were renovated in the 1980s to meet fisheries management needs. Konnekoski is an important spawning area for trout and whitefish, offering various fishing methods.

Nokisenkoski – For Trout and Grayling
Nokisenkoski is a versatile, clear-water fishing spot located in Rautalampi municipality, in Vaajasalmi, halfway between Niini- and Miekkavesi. The rapids are particularly known for their trout, and it also offers excellent opportunities for both fly fishing and lure fishing.
