Kalajaretkeily – Paddling and adventures in Etelä-Konneveden National Park
Kalajaretkeily operates in Etelä-Konneveden National Park, at Hanhitaipale Harbour, located near the best paddling waters in the area. In the summer, we rent kayaks, canoes, SUP boards, and rowboats for self-guided paddling, and during the winter season, we offer snowshoes and slip-on snowshoes.
Guided Tours and Courses
In both summer and winter, we organize guided tours in Etelä-Konneveden National Park, such as paddling and hiking trips, as well as wilderness dining experiences. We also offer the Meloja 1 & 2 courses, suitable for both beginners and more experienced paddlers.
Rentals and Equipment
Our rental equipment is located conveniently at Hanhitaipale Harbour, close to some of the best paddling waters in the area.
Vesa Viittala – Wilderness and Nature Guide
Kalajaretkeily’s founder, wilderness and nature guide Vesa Viittala, leads paddling, hiking, and ski treks in collaboration with Ulkoilma Akatemia. The treks include almost all necessary gear for rent. Feel free to ask for more information about the treks by contacting Vesa at 040 526 8562.
