The route circles Lake Vesantojärvi and also passes near other regional lakes, including Northern Konnevesi, Sonkari and Niinivesi. At the start, the route follows an asphalt road towards the village of Kuuslahti and its surrounding खेत landscapes before transitioning onto a gravel road. After Kuuslahti, the route turns onto a smaller road towards the village of Sonkari.
In the village of Sonkari, you may spot some of the Sydänmaapaalu landmarks located in the Vesanto municipality along the route. The route continues partly along the same track as the Patovesi loop, running through traditional Savonian countryside as it circles Lake Patovesi. Before reaching Tiitilänkylä, there is a public beach on the shore of Patovesi where you can stop for a swim if needed.
From Tiitilänkylä, the route follows the lakeside scenery of Niinivesi before climbing up to Vesamäki. Before returning to the centre of Vesanto, you will also pass blackcurrant fields, which are typical of the Vesanto area.
